The Passport to Adventure program runs from May 1 until Labor Day and encourages families to visit over 50 museums and nature centers in Kane and DuPage Counties. Families who visit the Elgin History Museum can pick up a FREE passport. Please note that entry to the Elgin History Museum is children are free with a paying adult. At each site listed in the passport, children are invited to complete an activity and have their passport stamped. This year to honor the passport’s 25th anniversary, visitors who get 6 sites stamped in the front of their passport will be eligible to be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. The Passport to Adventure program is promoted and funded by members of the Kane-DuPage Regional Museum Association.
