Theater Production of Bluff City Cemetery Walk
Silent City Speaks

The recently renovated Iglesia Principe de Paz Church will be hosting the Elgin History Museum’s first indoor Bluff City Cemetery Walk. This church as a long history. Built in 1892, the church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 7, 1980. It was first reopened to the public in May for the Mayor’s Preservation month award ceremony. Now it’s open for its second major event, the Bluff City Cemetery Walk theater production of Silent City Speaks . The museum welcomes you to see the church, then sit back and relax and watch our volunteer actors portray some of Elgin’s past residents talk about their lives in Elgin.

If you purchased advance tickets for the Bluff City Cemetery Walk, and didn’t use your ticket the day of the event, it can be redeemed for this event. Bring your unused ticket to the door and it will be honored.
