VIRTUAL EVENT – 2pm Leslie Goddard Portrays Author and Environmentalist Rachel Carson

April 11 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm CDT

Rachel Carson catalyzed the global environmental movement with her 1962 book Silent Spring. Outlining the dangers of chemical pesticides, the book led to a nationwide ban on DDT and other pesticides and sparked the movement that ultimately led to the creation of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The Museum is thrilled to welcome back Leslie Goddard to bring Rachel’s story to life!

Thank you to everyone who attended this event. It has been recorded and will be posted to our You Tube channel and available for 2 weeks.
