The Passport to Adventure program runs from May 1 until Labor Day and encourages families to visit over 50 museums and nature centers in Kane and DuPage Counties. Families who visit the Elgin History Museum can pick up a FREE passport. Please note that entry to the Elgin History Museum is children are free with a paying adult.
At each site listed in the passport, children are invited to complete an activity and have their passport stamped. Visitors who get 6 sites stamped in the front of their passport and return it back to the museum where they picked up the passport will be eligible to be entered into a drawing for a $25 gift card. The Passport to Adventure program is promoted and funded by members of the Kane-DuPage Regional Museum Association.
