In 2026, our nation reaches an extraordinary milestone—250 years of the American story. The Elgin History Museum invites you to commemorate this once-in-a-generation anniversary at the Museum Gala, an evening of celebration and community pride.
 
Enjoy dinner, drinks and entertainment all while supporting the Museum. Cocktail reception, cash bar, raffles, buffet dinner, and a silent auction. Live auction with special guest auctioneer Steve Thoren! The live auction will include fabulous trips, one-of-a-kind Elgin experiences, and dinner and a show package.
 
The evening will feature a stirring performance by the Illinois Brass Band, filling the ballroom with the bold sound of American celebration.
 
Proceeds from the evening directly support the Elgin History Museum’s mission to preserve, share, and celebrate the history of our diverse and vibrant community.
