Rediscover the Watch Factory Depot – Open House

Step inside a rarely opened piece of Elgin’s history.
This historic depot has been recently spruced up inside and out and now features new interpretive window displays highlighting its connection to the Elgin National Watch Company, which once operated nearby. Visitors will be able to go inside the building and discover this important link to Elgin’s industrial past.
At 1:00 pm, join us for a special series of short talks from George Doscher, Dan Miller and Travis Sexton who will share the story of how the depot was saved, the restoration process, and the creation of the new interpretive signage.
The Watch Factory Depot is located at the corner of National St. and Wellington St.
