The Museum holds original probate and divorce records from Elgin Township. For an indexed list of names please visit the Elgin Genealogical Society (EGS) website. The Society also holds some Elgin mortuary records and researched EGS family name files. The Reber Research Library, located on the third floor of the museum, also contains most Elgin histories, business directories, phone books, and memoirs. If your are interested in researching your family history in Elgin please contact EGS or the museum staff.
