History Fair
The annual Elgin History Fair, FREE to the public, will take place in late April at the Elgin History Museum located at 360 Park Street.
The last week in April school groups take over the Elgin History Museum during the annual History Fair! For that week only, hands-on activities are stationed around the Museum for students to dig into history. Interactive experiences help connect students to language and concepts, instilling pride in the community. Activities include:
- One room school house
- Great Grandma’s kitchen
- Chores on the Farm
- The radio play
- Old-fashioned fun
- Working in the Watch Factory
