This wine is called 1880 Zinfandel. It comes from Saucelito Canyon and is an old vine Zinfandel. This wine is a limited-edition Zinfandel more than 135 years in the making. The vines were originally planted in 1880 and were restored nearly 100 years after they were planted. The “1880 Zinfandel is the only wine to come exclusively from these vines.” It exhibits the rich flavors that could only come from some of the oldest vines still producing in California.
